Change the scale

These five guided challenges practise minor forms, pentatonic removal and the added blues note. Choose a written note; its controls appear directly below. Left/Right selects notes; Enter or Space hears the selected note.

Use ♭, ♮ or ♯ to alter a note. In removal tasks, Remove leaves a faint, selectable note; Restore brings it back. Removed notes and the empty ? slot are silent. Any accidental fills the empty slot. Fixed supplied notes remain audible.

Hear plays only the included, filled notes in written order. Check assesses your actual attempt, including wrong choices. After a correct answer, Next continues; Finish completes the fifth challenge. Start again repeats the same five challenges.

Bass writes and sounds the same notes two octaves below Treble. Switching clefs preserves your attempt and progress and stops playback. Reset attempt restores this challenge.
